Their Salmon Don was always fresh and delicious, and the flying fish roe (one of my absolute favorites) was both tasty and very reasonably priced compared to other sushi places in the area. I also appreciated how generous they were with their portions. I was such a loyal customer that I’d order from them two to three times a week—sometimes even twice in one day! Unfortunately, I recently ran into an issue. When I tried to reorder my usual items, I received an error message saying some things were unavailable. I waited a few days and tried again, but the problem persisted. It turns out the ordering platform changed, and I can no longer leave special instructions or find options to request no ginger or no wasabi. This is a serious issue for me, as I have a severe allergy to both. I only ever asked them to be careful when handling my food because of this—and now I can’t communicate that at all. It breaks my heart, but I can no longer safely order from Blue Wasabi, and that’s a big loss for me. "I ordered 2 each of the Colombiana & Manzana.The Colombiana was a 10 oz can, not the normal 12 oz can. The Manzana was not 12 oz can of Manzana, it was a 10 oz can of Postobon (which my be similar, but not what I was expecting). I was not notified about the difference in sizing/brand and was still charged the same price. The Bandeja Típica Pucalor / Pucalor's Typical Platter was bland. There was hardly any meat on the chicken pieces, the Chicharon was way over cooked and dry. And let's not get started on the rice. My husband & I used to go here all of the time, but these last couple of orders have been really disappointing."
