"I order from Silverlake Ramen all the time, but today I received some really unacceptable food. The broth was burnt. I am not sure exactly how you burn a broth base, but here it is. I had to dump it out and there were hard pieces of burnt remains at the bottom of the container. I also ordered a side of Sausage and thought the pieces would be more substantial like in the photo. These were an additional $3+, they were roughly the size of a quarter maybe 10 cents of meat. I do not really give reviews, however this was so bad I wanted to share my experience at the current state of this establishment. I hope they get their act together as the food used to be so delicious. One last note is I did try to call to see if I could get replacements for these items, but two tries and the phone line was busy each time."

"I had gotten this order as a delivery. The food overall was good. My favorite part was the Soft Shell Crab Roll. I enjoyed the portion size. I also liked the Miso soup but I do wish that the tofu bits were cut a bit smaller and had more in the portion. But the soup itself had that nice flavor to it. For the hand roll, I had gotten the shrimp. I wish there was a bit more shrimp in the roll and the flavor overall was a bit based. The side salad it was delicious. I love this kind dressing and freshness. The only problem is because my food was delivery, the chip bits that are typically there for texture got soggy a bit by the time it got to me. If I were to recommend anything, the chips to possibly be on the side in order so it can be added in by the customer once received. My least favorite part of my order was the Edamame. And that was because they are just steamed. If they had options for garlic, or chili oil I'm sure they would taste more flavorful. But that is no fault to the dish itself. Overall I would order from here again if I am in the mood for sushi."
