"The food was very good and very tasty and I will be ordering from this restaurant again however I do think that for a large order and for the price I would like to get more oxtails. But the food came wrapped up nicely and that is good because I know the restaurant cares enough to make sure my order was right. "
"The food was horrible,I ordered a large ,they gave me no mild sauce ,the chicken wasn't fresh,a spoonful of cabbage ,and a ton of dry rice, for 50$ I will never eat from golden Krust again they should be ashamed, they gave me old bananas and tried to pass them off as plaintains ,disgusting ,I'm so angry I paid my good money for garbage !!!!!"

"The platters were sooo good and seasoned to perfection!!! Nice portons. The Stewed chicken special and the Curried Chicken Roti the flavor is on point, hands down 5 stars in regard to flavor. The only negative issue (but not so negative) I would have to say wouldbe that I would have preferred chicken pieces in the roti to not have the bones, lol. I was enjoying it so much when I went to bite down, I bit into a large bone. So had to remove the bones. Overall, hands down a must try. I will be ordering again. They were sold out of the Pound Cake but did offer me a coconut as replacement. The coconut cake is pretty good also."
"This was my first time ordering from Island Spot and to be honest I was scared. It's the fourth Caribbean restaurant I've tried and I was worried because of past experiences.
The way the carefully wapped the food was impressive. I have not seen that. The mixed steamed veggies were not soggy but crunchy and flavorful. The Medium Curried Chicken was a nice portionfor the price and very good. The rice and peas was fresh and wasn't dry or soggy, just right.
Although they delivered quicker than the estimated 30 mins, the food was a bit cold. I was also unable to choose between white rice or rice and peas, which I found odd. "

"This place is as beautiful and the food is amazing! The chicken was so juicy and tasty. Plantains were fresh, perfectly salted, and crisp. I wish the rasta pasta was a little less dry. Overall, amazing and pretty plating, I didn't even wanted to ruin the presentation. "
"The Jerk Chicken had great flavor and a nice smoky char, but it was on the dry side, and chopping it up left a lot of small, tough, bony pieces. If it weren't for how many bony pieces I received, I'd say this was a good portion for the price.
The rice and peas was a real letdown. It tasted completely unseasoned, and I unfortunately got stuck with clumps from the bottom of the pot that were dry, mushy, and devoid of any coconut or herbal flavor. The house jerk sauce had a decent tang and helped rescue the dry chicken, but overall, it missed the mark.
Would I order again? Maybe, but there are better places for jerk chicken so not anytime soon"

Female workers are very respectful and polite! She even called to ask me if I'd want rice and peas because it's no more white rice . Order again and again"
"They're usually excellent with their orders. For some reason their Oxtail Beef tasted like jerk seasoning which is unusual AND on top of it I ordered a large and was literally given only tiny small oxtail with fat. No large sizes of oxtail and the value was nothing compared to the last time I ordered. Not pleased this time. I sure hope I don't have this issue in the future."

They weren't skimpy on the oxtail Thank goodness!"

"First time trying this restaurant. I really wanted stew chicken. The chicken was tender and nice sized pieces for the price. The flavor of the chicken was ok but not wow this is really good. "The curry goat roti for $24.49 was not worth the price!! The meal was with only 4 small pieces of meat that had a lot of chipped bones in the gravy, plus there was a lot of potatoes that I didn't care for. It also came with a small scoop of pumpkin and channa.. considering how inexpensive pumpkin and channa is the serving size could have been better. Definitely a 2 out of 10 rating!!!"

"As a Jacan, Trinis make the best roti period. Glad this restaurant came across my feed. Best roti in this side of town."
"I was so excited to see a TT cafe nearby I just had to try it.
Staring with the Doubles , the pepper had a very spiced mustardy taste, which I loved. I hate when something is just hot for nothing, it was both hot and flavorful. The barra was a little bigger than I'm used to but as a result one was enough. Very pleasant, 8/10.
The bake and Saltfish stole the show honestly. It was still so very hot when it arrived, the bake was quite fresh as well as the saltfish. Pleasantly seasoned. This is going to be my go to. 11/10 please don't ever change this!
The Buss Up was nice, standard. I loved it. Going to go great with my meal tonight.
Lastly the Aloo Pie could've been better. I would've liked to try it without the extra sauces, as the flavors overwhelmed the pie.
I wish the Currant Rolls were in stock, I crave them so bad. Next time though, as I'll surely be ordering again. Thank you to the staff!"

"Everything tasted very fresh, and it was nice to enjoy a jerk chicken plate that included a spicy and not sweetened sauce. My only disappointment is the menu stating there would be 4 pieces of chicken, and I only saw 3. The plantains were well prepared as well. The sweet potato pie was good also, and not overly sweetened like some places. "
"My first order from Mo's...Lamb Gyro 🔥 is a little salty and sauce is not genuine Tzatziki sauce.....Season Fries are seasoned well.. not salty but soggy, limp... no crunch...Breast was cooked perfectly!!! Portions are very generous. I forgot to take pictures"

"had the GENTLE Jerk Chicken Platter cook well and tasty like it was cooked out on BBQ. surprisingly bbq jerk blend flavor I wouldnt call super authentic but fresh and delicious indeed. the rice and veg was good too! Taste like a really nice home cooked meal. Jamaican Patties were okay"
"Disgusting. Definitely not authentic Jamaican food. They put barbecue sauce on Jamaican jerk chicken. And the Pattie's were not fresh. "
