"I hadn’t eaten at Taqueria Flores in years, but after reading the reviews, I decided to give them another try. Unfortunately, I should have trusted my gut and saved my $40.
I ordered the tostadas, the crunchy taco special, and queso. I only wanted bean tostadas, but the order required me to select a protein, so I chose chicken. I even picked the food up myself, thinking that would ensure the tostadas and tacos were fresh and crunchy. I live only about four minutes away, but by the time I got home, everything was already soggy.
The tostadas had very little flavor and seemed to have more tomatoes and cheese than lettuce. The “crunchy” tacos were just as disappointing—they were soggy rather than crisp and lacked flavor as well.
The queso was another disappointment. It tasted sour and was surprisingly bland, with very little of the rich, cheesy flavor you expect from good queso. Between the soggy food and the sour-tasting queso, there really wasn’t anything about the meal that I enjoyed.
Both the tacos and tostadas were part of a buy-one-get-one-free special, but unfortunately, getting twice as much disappointing food didn’t make it a better deal.
Next time, I’ll stick with the food truck near Exxon. Their tacos and tostadas are made to order, fresh, crunchy, and packed with flavor. I really wanted to enjoy Taqueria Flores again, but this experience was a disappointment and definitely not worth the $40 I spent."

"Got the soup of the day and Penne Carbonara, and it did not miss. Soup was flavorful and the vegetables were tender. The Penne Carbonara was super yummy with flavor. The Alfredo sauce was creamy and thick and held the pasta together very nicely. Tiramisu tastes ok not very sweet if you are not into sweet desserts this is for you. Garlic Dip is delicious and has a strong garlic flavor. I wish I had lots more meat to eat it with! 😮💨😔They are very gracious with the pita bread if you like it they will provide to you a lot. Otherwise the actual food items so little yet so expensive. "Always weary of Pizza places outside of NY/NJ calling themselves "Brooklyn or NY" pizza, but surprised for once in this case as this spot actually has decent pizza and hot subs.
They made a few mistakes on our order but the food quality and flavor was pretty good compared to 90% of all the other pizza places in Houston.
Cheesesteak was surprisingly pretty good, they actually seasoned their meat, had great flavor and decent bread. Hard to find a decent cheesesteak in this city. Only issue is that they use mozzarella for their cheese and wish they would give the option for American cheese like a proper Philly cheesesteak or at lease provolone but it was still pretty good. Also the description says onions and peppers with no options to keep or remove and we ended getting a cheesesteak with just steak and cheese which is fine because we didn't want any green peppers.
The meatball parm sub was also pretty good better than most places. The chicken cutlet was decent, not the worst and not the best, wish they didn't cut the chicken up and just gave whole cutlets like a chicken parm should be.
Chicken cutlet sandwich was decent as well but it had cheese on it which it doesn't say it does in the description also not that big a deal but not exactly what we wanted and wish they would give an option to add mayo to the sandwich, but ended up just adding it ourselves at home and it was pretty good after that.
The wings were also pretty good, the blue cheese they give with it was also good.
The pizza was pretty good, only issue is we ordered half plain and half pepperoni and we ended up getting a pie full of pepperoni, not that big a deal but we definitely wanted plain because that's how you judge a pizza spot properly is by how good their plain pizza is, anyhow it was still pretty good, especially compared to some of these horrendous pizza spots we have tried out here in H-town and we have tried almost all of them out here.
Home Slice is still oneof the best we have found in this city but this spot is not bad.
So overall we give them a 7.9/10 which is a good score for this areas when everything else is a 5-6/10 or lower. Would recommend giving them a try."

The chocolate pastry had barely any chocolate in it at all, for over 6 dollar you would think they would make it loaded, the other location gives you way more and tasted like we were just eating plain bread. The fruit they use here is so bad, again the other location gives the best fruit at peak flavor and ripeness, this one however had very poor fruit, all the strawberries were still green, like how does a self respecting French pastry bakery put junk like that out to customers and for the exorbitant fees they charge too? An almost 80 dollar order for a few pastries and coffee and almost all of it was not good and pathetic, the other location was always great and we ordered a few times a month but this place we will never order from again.
The only decent items were the Matcha Latte and the coffee croissant everything else we feel as though they just robbed us of our money. Most of the items had literally no taste and no flavor.
Do not recommend them at all. Go to the Pearland location instead much better quality.
