"Shepherd's Pie was absolutely amazing. Made with lamb instead of ground beef, so it added another incredible layer of flavor. Mashed potatoes were super fancy looking, whole dish was filling, no complaints. Growler I can't believe it was $8. That's 32oz of brew AND a sweet container you can save and reuse. Fries were fries. Tipperary Irish Stew was thick. Tasty, but thick. I honestly couldn't eat most of it because the pie filled me up to capacity, but had I known the stew was going to be so meaty (I was thinking the stew would be more soupy than anything) I probably wouldn't have got it as a backup in case I was still hungry. Don't get me wrong, it was tasty, I was just thinking that the stew wouldn't be as substantial as it was. This place is hands down the most pleasant surprise I've ever found on doordash in 2 years of traveling over the road. "First time customer, and unfortunately, more of the items I ordered were disappointing than enjoyable.
The Wings: Boneless was easily the best item. I actually ended up using it as the protein for the noodle dish because the crispy chicken that came with the Yakisoba Bowl had a strange texture and wasn’t enjoyable. I’m glad I ordered the boneless wings because they gave me an alternative.
The Truffle Fries were also disappointing. You could smell a slight hint of truffle oil, and you could clearly see the cheese on top, but there was very little flavor overall. They tasted bland and didn’t resemble the truffle fries I’ve had elsewhere.
The Very Berry Salad was another miss. The yogurt based dressing (I’m assuming that’s what it was) was extremely sweet. At first, I honestly thought it was a diluted icing because it was that sweet. I couldn’t eat it. The balsamic that came with it was also extremely thick, almost like a paste or molasses. It just didn’t feel appropriate for a lighter salad with fruit. The dressing should complement the dish rather than overpower it.
Unfortunately, overall, this was not a successful purchase, and I wouldn’t order from here again.
One other thing worth mentioning: there was plenty of room in my bag to properly secure it with staples or tape. It’s always disappointing when a restaurant misses that simple opportunity to provide an additional layer of security and reassurance that the order hasn’t been tampered with. Staples and a stapler are inexpensive, so this seems like an easy step that could improve the customer experience."
