Coming from a former legitimate chef, not just a title but a lifestyle, the people who run this establishment know what they are doing and their pride reflects in the food they deliver. And this place DELIVERS. The sauces are perfect; the Chicken Tikka Masala is thick with spices, both chutney that came with the Veg Samosa are perfect, the samosas themselves are crispy and fresh. Bringing a sauce of any kind to the table correctly can exhaust a kitchen- but they do not get exhausted here. This is what they do, and they do it best. Their rice is fluffy and prepared on point. It is all made fresh, there is no question. The Garli Naan is incredible. Most other places, it would dry out immediately. Not this restaurant. Their Butter Naan and Butter Naan hold their rich flavor and doughy grilled texture until the next day. I ordered all these things last night, and it was beyond words I can articulate to describe how amazing everything tasted and satisfied. I ordered beef tehari (beef biryani) along with rice pudding. The rice pudding seemed old and spoiled—the rice was already breaking down and melting, which made it unpleasant to eat.
As for the beef biryani, it was supposed to contain a decent amount of beef, but I only found 3–4 very small pieces of meat. Even worse, the biryani was completely tasteless. There was no aroma or flavor at all—just plain rice with almost no seasoning.What they show on the online menu and what I actually received were completely different. The presentation and portion did not match at all.Overall, this was one of the worst biryanis I’ve ever had. It felt like a complete waste of money. Only thinks Iwas surp about was that I wasn't provided with the option to choose the spice level for my dish (possibly just not an option through the DoorDash app?).
