The order somehow didn't get through to the restaurant although I had the confirmation email, and I had to wait a few minutes for my order to be assembled. The restaurant was apologetic and I didn't have to wait too long, luckily.
The food tasted good and fresh but everything didn't quite match the photos ( AI generated) and I felt disappointed because I was expecting something superior and more refined. Especially the salmon roll photo which is very far from reality...

"I came to pickup a takeout order, and not only was it not ready 30 minutes after I ordered, it seemed likely they never saw it when it was placed. This is my first time trying this restaurant and this wasn't the first impression I expected, to say the least. I even ran a couple errands before arriving at the restaurant to give them extra time even though it was just four items. The funny part was there was only one table in the restaurant when I arrived, so it's literally all they had to do to prepare my food order. The chicken skin gyoza were chewy, the portabello mushroom fries were more breading than mushroom, the salmon salad was slathered in a sauce that wasn't in the photo and the miso soup was just okay. On the plus side, I only had to wait ten minutes for them to make my order but I wish it was a better experience overall. I had high hopes."
