My husband found this restaurant for my birthday. I love Indian food and it has been my comfort food since I was introduced to homemade biryanis and kormas in Dallas with friends families. I have not been able to find a restaurant for over a decade that has the same depth of flavor.
I am not in my 20s anymore and CANNOT handle the level of spice even in most mild dishes anymore. This means, I rarely eat my favorite foods anymore. But THEY HAVE MILD THAT IS ACTUALLY MILD.
My husband and I marveled at the flavors of everything we got. I got lamb korma, naan, we had the roasted broccoli and the desserts were fantastic. They even had signature cocktails with Indian flavors. I got the Mumbai Moscow mule which is made with curry leaves. Delish.
Not only is the food soul healing, the decor and dishes show how much care and intention was put into this restaurant. It is decorated in such a lovely fashion. It's a whole experience.
The staff was wonderful and giggled at my enthusiasm for the food and ambiance. We got our leftovers to go from the generous portions. I ate it for theee days. I can't recommend highly enough. I was just there last Friday and came here to order something again for tonight."

"The Arroz con Pollo tasted like it was not fully cooked. It was bland with hard vegetables (peas). Yes, there was chicken but it's obvious by the lack of flavor that it was not cook with the rice. They added sauce all over the top of the rice (some kind of pink sauce) and fries so the fries were soggy. The sauce was not a good addition and it should be left to be added by the customer. The Arroz con Pollo had the driest chicken known to man kind.
The Arepa Rellena Queso was also cold and had an entire bag of cheese in the middle. It should have been called Queso con chiquito arepa.
Lastely, the dessert bread, Pandebono was hard as a rock and cold.
