"I have been eating at EDO since 1991 and it started at Chinook Mall food court in Calgary.
Edo is so consistent for the most part and having your meal literally cooked right in front of your eyes gives you like a 1on1 with them. Add in some of whom are really good with the tools of their
Profession and have 3-4 orders each with 2 cooks working together is also impressive. Teriyaki sauce is fresh, warm, and it all just blends together. I'm not a veggie at all so a sumo size chicken and beef double the protein with 6 shrimp and 4 sauce with some chilis......that hits the spot. Is a bit pricy but I don't mind paying a little extra and have a really good and filling meal than going to a restaurant and get 1/2 that portion and quality at same price."
"My go-to order is always the Sukiyaki Beef though for sides the Gyoza can't be beat! I've has Edo Japan across Ontario, Alberta, and BC and the University Village location is AMAZING.
