"If you can get past the name of this place, I highly recommend it! Just know that this is NOT Texas BBQ and as far as I can tell, the meat's not even barbecued but grilled. But with those little details out of the way, the food is nonetheless delicious! I got the 2-meat BBQ Meat Combo with lamb and chicken. The lamb is cubed and cooked on skewers (you get 4), and you get a bunch of chicken! These sit on a huge pile of basic fried rice (rice fried with soy sauce) and a scoop of potato salad. It's a lot of food! And much more than I could finish. "I've been eating at La Mordida for 10 years. The food is consistently good, and they're open "late" (for Pacifica/the Bay Area, where everything closes early). Really didn't feel great after eating it, but we gave them another try the other night in case it was just a one-off bad night, but this time in person and it still wasn't great and we felt not great again. Won't be eating here again. It's too bad, but they really need to upgrade the quality of their food and flavors."

The only downside is that their Beef Udon wasnt the best. Inwouldnt get it again. Since they packaged it all together, the beef was a bit overcooked and tough. I've seen other restaurants separate the soup and noodles/meat in delivery orders to avoid this. The broth wasn't bad, it just wasn't anything unique or tasty "
