So just be aware before ordering, they literally mean just lettuce. I think my brain just processed it as a garden salad when I ordered it, so that's on me, I guess. "Everything is really good. The chicken is always cooked to perfection. The Tzatziki is delicious with their addictive pita bread. I love getting the Santorini bowl because it has the chicken pieces that were skewered. I love basmati rice, they make great hummus and a concoction of these little different colored balls with tomato and cucumber. It is so delicious!!! It has olives, kale and a few other things. It's all really good.. but something in it is really spicy! Which the menu doesn't say in the details and why I don't give it 5 stars! I can't have anything spicy. I've tried figuring out which part has it. But it's been impossible. Whatever it is.. it ruins the delicious tasting ingredients. When you are about halfway through and things are getting pushed around together. That sneaky spicy stuff starts invisibly overtaking everything and becomes inedible. Which is terrible because it's really, really good without it!!! "

"I got the Chicken Shawarma Wrap with fries and added the pickled turnip. The portions were sizeable, although I was disappointed I paid extra for only two measly pieces of turnip. The wrap tasted ok but I should've gotten some garlic sauce to add to it because it lacked the flavor I'm used to in middle eastern/mediterranean food. However, the laffa was great and the ingredients were fresh. I also got the Side Falafel which came with 4 pieces and sauce. Again, these were lacking in flavor and we wish we had more sauce to drench them in. And maybe a bit over-fried for my liking. The french fries were probably the best part - so good! We'd order from them again for the fries alone."

"Pita And Basil always has the most flavorful bowls. I prefer this over any other Mediterranean place. They give really good portions and have a lot of options for sides and sauces! Their meat is always tender and tasty and everything is very fresh!"
"I hate to be brutally honest, but I was pretty disappointed with my order. I’d recommend sticking with Cava—or maybe trying the chicken instead. I ordered the lamb and found the texture to be very mushy, which just wasn’t for me.
Also, a heads up on the olives: they were black olives. I personally assumed they would be green, so it might be helpful if that was specified more clearly on the menu. Just sharing my experience in case it helps others when deciding what to order."

"I have ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich and the beef shawarma sandwich, both on pita. Both were INCREDIBLE (chicken was my favorite)!! Super flavorful, lots of meat + other fillings but still well balanced, and the portions are fantastic. You definitely get your money's worth. I think about that chicken sandwich all the time, it was so damn good. And such a good price for what you get. I also recommend getting the side order of fries and a drink, as it's cheaper than getting the fries by itself + the portion of fries is pretty big. The sauces on the side were also so delicious (that garlic sauce is SO garlicky and yummy, + the tzatziki and chili sauce are also bomb. The tahini was good but not as flavorful as the other sauces. I don't wanna give them any ideas but I can't believe they let you get them for free, all 3 of them!!! tzatziki is an extra dollar but I think it's worth it). I crave this place ALL THE TIME. I rarely write reviews on DoorDash but I have to for this place. Easily one of the best meals I've ever had."
