They have dishes you can't find anywhere else in the greater Ann Arbor area, including a dish I love, huarache. I've tried it with their chicken tinga, spicy fish, carnitas, and barbacoa. With it, they offera chipotle sauce, a salsa, and sour cream, all on the side. This dish is straight out of Mexico City! I hope they make mollete next, because no one in town offers that. excellent restaurant. My only criticism is that some of their main items veer away from authenticism, like the enchiladas. They are served in a flour tortilla. Other than that, I love this place!"

The beans were not even as good as GFS brand can beans. The Tamales were dry and like the rest of my food cold. The container for my Burrito Special weighed more then the food inside of it and better hydrated. The true saving grace to this meal would have been the desert but no it was very dry small and not worth the money. All in all not a good experience normally I give a place 3 tries before I make up my mind but this time I'm not going to waste my money on food that I would not just have to trash again. "I ordered the Mixed Shawarma Hummus Bowl Platter ( Dinner ) & Baba Ghannouj Dip. Unfortunately, I received a Rice Bowl in error. I'm currently on a low-carb diet, so I was totally bummed since I can't eat the rice! I called the restaurant to let them know what happened and was extremely impressed with Pita Kabob's customer service. The employee I spoke with apologized, refunded my payment, and advised me to place a replacement order. Since I'm really hungry, I've been picking pieces of meat out and nibbling at the veggies as I wait for my new order... this food is REALLY good! The lamb & chicken has great flavor with a perfect texture - obviously fresh and not dried out at all. The Baba Ghannouj Dip is probably the best I've tasted. Since I was really looking forward to my hummus dish, I'm waiting until it arrives so I can enjoy everything together as intended, but this is so good it's making it very difficult! I've never ordered from here until tonight; I'm eating later than usual so I just chose a place that was open and had chicken with hummus - I was pleasantly surprised to see this mixed dish with both chicken and lamb. I'm honestly kinda thankful my usual place was closed because it led me to discovering Pita Kabob Grill! Nobody's perfect and all humans make mistakes, so I'm not even upset about the incorrect item since it's been corrected with no problems. I will definitely continue ordering from here!
