The batter, which is usually light and crispy, was thick and chewy, the inside of the batter where the fish is was just uncooked. The batter was like a thick piece of fabric. It came off the fish in one piece and FOLDED. The batter pulled away from the fish as soon as I cut it. The fish inside was fine. I ate that on its own. Can I also say that while we got a couple of little containers of tartar sauce for the fish, they were only halfway filled. Not enough for the fish.
The Shepherds Pie, which is usually pretty good, was a bit tinny, very metallic in taste. For the price of this dish, it was not done well—as well as I have had it here in the past.
Buffalo wings were good. No problem there.
Salad was good as well.
All in all, for spending over $100 for dinner, I don't think I got my money's worth.
