I want cured meats that are of similar quality to what every average Joe would cook with rather than bulk bought slop. Do any of the cooks here even eat their own recipes without adjustments? I get that many kebab shops stoop to mass producing slop but I thought this place did small servings with more attention to detail to make up for it. The panini's certainly gave that impression but I suppose loaded fries are just to bulk up orders with the cheap stuff in service of that profit margin. "I love this place. The Margherita pizza is really fresh with the most perfect, velvety tomato base I've had outside of Brooklyn, and luscious cheese. I recommend adding the buffala - if you're having pizza for dinner you may as well double down on the delicious. A lot of similar places around Perth look good but tend towards overcooking the pizzas so you end up with the wrong texture and unable to taste anything other than charcoal. The only negative with Il Locale is the type of pies they make don't travel that well. They get cold fast and with cooling comes that weird reversal when the dough becomes increasingly soggy and the cheese increasingly firm. I'm only 6 minutes from the restaurant and it's still a thing. I should get off my butt and go sit in the restaurant (totally offers good vibes) but when I just *can't* I am still delighted with my pizza even if the 'middle pizza zone' ingredients have all traded consistencies. The only reason I gave the Piggy a thumbs down is my partner said he didn't like the meat or soggy middle. To which I say he should have ordered a Margherita and appreciated that he doesn't have to get off the couch. You can't please everyone. But I'm delighted he's being precious - more leftovers for me. Hooray! Thank you Il Locale for a tasty pizza pie I very much enjoyed on my sofa in my moment of need!"

"I ordered 3 pizzas that came to a total of $104. The Garlic King Prawn pizza with Devine. I recon it should always come with some aoli on top it just makes it. The Chilli Prawn Chorizo unfortunately didn't have prawns on it, but it still had quite a lot of topping and a good taste. The Philly Cheese Steak was awesome. Lots of flavour and the cheese sauce on the base was so good. The only thing I would change is remove the green capsicum.
