"The Vegetable Deluxe has great flavor without being too salty, and the Jasmine Rice is well worth the price point. My protein was shrimp, which could be either bigger in size, or a few more (especially since shrimp is a higher price point. Overall happy with the meal."
"Pot Stickers were pretty expensive for five tiny dumplings and the sauce was VERY sweet and molasses-y. Tom Kha (Cup) was perfect size, generous with the shrimp, though the veg was nearly all onion. I do wish more places offered cups like they do here. "

"Empanadas were very tasty and larger than I expected. I had the ham and cheese and Cordon Bleu (chicken, ham and cheese) flavors. They have a crust made of masa (cornmeal) rather than flour. It has a soft texture and slightly sweet taste."
"Por la fotografía de referencia pensé que iban a ser dos empanadas pero en realidad es una sola exageradamente grande, pero ese no es problema, la masa estaba dulce y no hacía buen contraste con la carne, siento que le hacía falta un poco más de sabor a la carne o menos dulce la masa, además queda como un dedo de pura masa en la empanada, no e probado otros platos pero la empanada no la volvería a ordenar"

"32. Yellow Curry:* The curry is excellent! Very filling. I ordered it Mild+ and it was the perfect amount of spice. The only thing I wish is that it had more potatoes to balance out the other ingredients. Yellow Curry is my favorite dish, so I always love to give it a try from different Thai restaurants. The rice that came with the meal is high quality.

"Thoroughly enjoyed dinner. Pictured are the Chicken Kabob Rice Plate (GF) platter and the Falafel Mezza Platter (GF) nice that they separatedthe falafel from the rest. The falafel was tasty, not greasy and the accompanying pita, hummus and baba ganoush were flavorful with the right balance of spices. We also enjoyed the chicken kabobs with rice. The accompanying chickpea side was also good. The chicken was high quality and perfectly grilled, maybe a tad salty for my taste but I am particularly sensitive to salt. Everything arrived hot. Will definitely order from them again."
"When you order the chicken kebab mezze, it comes with dip for a party of four and pita for one. Stingy. Not impressed considering how pricy it is. Half the chicken was dry and too hard to chew, the other half was tender. Guessing I got some leftover chicken. It wasn't a huge portion, compared with other places. The seasoning for the chicken was lovely, though. Haven't tried the soup yet. Not sure if I'd o order from here again. Hummus was fine. Very basic- with tahini, not garlic. Tzatziki was not my fav, and I usually. Like it elsewhere. The babaganoush is really good.
For the price, send proper pita. That's my only real issue."

"Everything was AMAZING the portion size was large, they plenty of their Garlic Naan which I haven't tasted better before. The Chicke Tikka Masalan was even better, I could taste all the spices and seasoning truly amazing. Highly recommend to everyone"
"Extremely disappointing — not worth the price
The portions are extremely small for the price. The “Lamb Biryani” was nothing like biryani—it was essentially soggy curry rice. The rice was overly soft and had very little flavor, with only about 7 small pieces of lamb and roughly 100 g of rice in the portion.
The tandoori chicken was even more disappointing. I eat relatively low-salt food, but even I found this incredibly bland. There was barely any seasoning or salt. It honestly tasted like the chicken had been dipped in colored water, steamed, and then briefly broiled rather than properly marinated and cooked as tandoori chicken should be.
The food looked nothing like what I expected from the restaurant’s posted pictures. Do not rely solely on the images when deciding what to order.
Overall, extremely poor value for the price and a very disappointing meal. I would not order from here again."

"My father is a refugee from Kabul and most of my family, including him now live in California. I try to cook Afghan food at home but it never hits the same way my family makes it. This food was amazing!! Every single dish we ordered had such a beautiful balance of spices. The 15. Banjan Borani and 8. Afghan Chicken Biryani were made to perfection! I will definitely be ordering from Afghan Cuisine again soon and very often!"
"The 5. Lamb Shank with Pulao was very good. I thought the pulao would have some cinnamon and cardamom, but I couldn't detect any. I think that would really add to the flavor and I would love it. This is a very generous portion; enough for another meal."

"Best chicken kebab in town. Not dry. Very flavorful. The hummus was good- topped with garbanzos and olive oil. I loved the basmati rice, too! I used to live close to Hoda's and would go often. It showed up on DD and I had to try them again. Excellent food. I will return! No better food like this in town."
"I order the chicken kabob normally it's a decent amount of chicken. This time it was a small container, half of which as basically empty. Small amounts of rice and 5 pieces of chicken. For 23 dollars it's disappointing..food tastes good though."

"So good. The most flavorful consumee I have had the Portland area so far. The esquites were delicious too. Good flavor and amount of ingredients in everything. Most places dont give nearly enough crema/mayo or cheese, this had the perfect amount (though I would never turn down more!) Love the amount of onions and stuff in the consumee too. "

"Always very well packaged. Moi Moi is delicious and convenient. The Egusi never fails, it is truly delicious every time. And I really appreciate being able to purchase loaves of Agege directly rather than having to have it shipped from somewhere"
"ordered Chicken SUYA wings, Jollof Rice & Goat Meat and Efo Riro (Spinach) with fufu and amala. Have never had a doordash order so well packaged, thermal bag with everything needed to enjoy. I am American and unfamiliar with African food so keep this in mind. Everything absolutely delicious. Wings tasty. Efo Riro (Spinach) to die for. Spicy, almost on the brink of too much but wonderfully balanced eaten with the FuFu and Amala.I understand why it is eaten this way, it is just perfect together. The texture of the swallows was smooth and a little sticky, mild flavor helps really balance out the efo. Really delicious, I can't explain enough. Jollof Rice & Goat Meat amazing as well, very flavorful and a good pairing. I highly recommend."

"Everything was delicious and honest. Nothing seemed overly loaded with fat. The 90) Saag Paneer and 81) Chana Masala (ND)(GF) had plenty of spinach, paneer, and chickpea respectively. The naans were good, the 2) Samosas (2 pcs.) Were full and tasty, the rice was light and there was plenty of it. Really lovely meal."

"I'm very disappointed in the Hulbata. For $20, I'm expecting more than just a potato and 2 small pieces of meat that are 50% bone with barely any stew. 90% of the box consisted of injera and lettuce. The stew was also very bland. Will never get it again."
