"Although I have already left a glowing review of the cream cheese wontons, the Luc Lac must be also addressed in glowing terms. Adding the dressing to the meat and salad works wonders, and I highly recommend the extra meat, as marinating in the dressing overnight adds phenomenal flavor, and is actually delicious cold. Definitely will always be a favorite with the wontons, but look forward to trying other items, as everything is, as a friend of mine would say, next level, top notch."

Today I ordered the R2 Roasted Duck a la carte so it came with more meat and no rice. The duck is perfectly cooked, super juicy/tender and crispy skin. Best roasted duck I've found in Portland. The A7 House Made Wonton (Fried) are always super crispy and the filling is tasty. They vent the container to let the steam out preventing soggy wrappers. Don't sleep on their House Soup , it's incredible! A "simple" light broth that's packed with savory rich flavors. The portion is huge too for the price and it came piping hot. The lime soda was the perfect drink, so refreshing and not too sweet. Overall you can't go wrong with anything on their menu and you know your money is being spent on consistently delicious food!"
"N13 Ba Mee N13 BA MEE House Noodle BBQ Sauces was really good. However the portion is crazy small for the price. As you can see in the picture, it was barely half the container it comes with. Even with A7 House Made Wonton (Steam) added on im still left hungry.
Overall, food taste really good but the portion size was bad. I ate a their restaurant before and they gave more reasonable size dining in. "

"The 48 hour bone broth pho was delicious! That being said, when our order was delivered, we opened up the packaging to find barely a tablespoon of beef in each of our pho meals (no exaggeration either!) and not a whole lot of noodles either. And paying nearly $17 for each bowl of this yummy pho, I am a little bummed out that this restaurant skimped on the beef (which there is no denying that they did). Because without the beef in this dish, your just getting noodles, a handful of bean sprouts, a pinch of onions and some basil leaves. They need to add more sustenance to this delicious dish to make it worth the price they are asking. "
"Normally I love Butterfly Belly, I'm not sure if they were just having an off night or what, but my concerns started when the dasher messaged me they had to wait an extra half an hour to pick up the food because the server was playing guitar instead of tending to customers, seating people acknowledging he was there, etc.
When we got the food, they packaged it so poorly that the Thai tea had exploded all over the items in the bag & soaked everything in tea, making it inedible. Even if that hadn't happened, the food itself was nowhere near the quality it usually is. There was hardly any meat in anything, the lettuce wrap mix was mostly just onions & grease. There was no sauce at all in the vermicelli, and the egg rolls were dripping in grease.
I don't know what changed, I've never had this experience before at Butterfly Belly, it was extremely disappointing. This has long been one of my favorite restaurants in Portland, so i don't know if this was just an off night, but I really hope they can figure out what happened and address these issues in the future. "

"WOW the taste was beyond what we expected! So flavorful and each curry dish has a distinct taste that we couldn't get enough of. We ordered 3 curries - Lamb, Brisket and Pork and all are beyond a 10 rating - so DELICIOUS! We also ordered the sweet and sour chicken which if you want something fried and not overly breaded and with a lot of flavor then this is it! It is boneless, tender, juicy and the sauce all over it is not over powering but a complimentary to the chicken - recommended to eat it while still warm.
The amount you receive for take out / delivery was more than enough for 2 adults and still have left overs. If you order 1 curry dish for 2 adults then it may not be enough if you are hungry, I would suggest 2 curries or another dish.
The cost based on the amount you receive is fair since the flavor of the curry and the types of meat used in the curry and how the meat is tender & flavorful is better than what I have tasted before in other Thai restaurants.
