"Unfortunately, this was really disappointing. We ordered the chicken tikka masala thali along with the Vijayawada chicken biryani. The aloo gobi was delicious and easily the best part of the meal, and the basmati rice was cooked well. The rajma/dal was decent and had a nice creamy texture.
The rest was not good. The chicken tikka masala was extremely sweet, almost syrupy. We received two pieces of tandoori chicken instead of one, which was appreciated, but while one was okay, the other had such a tough, unpleasant texture that it was inedible. The butter naan was surprisingly doughy rather than soft and chewy.
The biggest disappointment was the Vijayawada biryani. We’ve attached a photo of both the restaurant’s menu photo and what we actually received because they look like completely different dishes. The menu shows fluffy, golden rice with visible cashews and distinct grains (right side of photo). What arrived was bright orange, very sticky and greasy, with no cashews that we could find (left side of photo). The flavor wasn’t terrible, but it simply wasn’t what was pictured or what we expected based on the listing, and it was very greasy. The accompanying raita tasted good but was extremely watery.
They also included a small complimentary dessert, which was a nice gesture. Overall, though, there were too many problems with the food for us to order again."

"Let's start with the naan. It was really good, perfectly cooked and great flavors, but you have to buy 8oz chutneys to have a dip to dip it in which is a lot! It's A lot of chutney and money. They should offer small 2oz chutney's with them. Why only offer such large sizes. Unless they do send some but it's not listed?? But to try mango and Tamarind Chutney 8Oz and mint would cost $15. So I bought only 2. They could even offer like 4oz cups. I only got to try mango and tamarind it was okay. Bummed I couldn't try mint. The sweet naan I liked it's a new twist.. The curry. The curry had amazing flavors but with shrimp you always have to be careful with adding it to curries and Shrimp Coconut Curry. It's easy to over cook the shrimp because it keeps cooking after you add it, so the shrimp arrived so dry and rubbery. Way over done. But the flavors were on point. The Rice pudding was the only thing that was awful. It was super watery hardly no rice and had no real flavor. I know Mexican rice pudding is different and I shouldn't compare, but this pudding needs to be thicker with more seasoning and little more sweeter. It tasted like watery rice. Small hint of flavor. It was overall pretty decent. Just a lot of money! I spent $60. The mango lassie was really nice. Refreshing. Could drink that everyday. Please just send straws and silverware! This might be a place that I can have as a treat."

I really loved the Lamb Tikka Masala (G), it had a great flavor and texture and went really well with the cardamom rice. (which is so fragrant and cooked well!). The Mattar Tofu (Vg, G) is sweet and savory, so it feels light and refreshing even though it's pretty high protein. The Grill Fish (G) is tender and flavorful, definitely fresh ingredients there. The rolls themselves are wrapped in rice paper, which clings to the cling wrap, Un wrapping them really hard! They just kind of fall apart. I am sure that served in the restaurant they are fine. The pad Thai was presented as a bunch of ingredients all packed together in a box. To enjoy them properly they needed to be mixed, impossible to do in the box because the noodles are all along the bottom, just stuck there. I dumped everything into a salad bowl and was able to mix them a bit. Still, very tasty and I am sure in the restaurant, properly served, it would be fine. The curry was perfect!"
