"Excellent Chicken Biryani (although it was too spicy for me to finish). The spiciness is hardly the restaurant's fault, and I should have requested a milder level of heat. "The food is always so good here. But our favorite is the chicken tikka masala, the sauce is creamy and tasty and if you get it spicy it's perfect. My husband loves the lamb dishes here and often we order 2 lamb dishes (the vindaloo is always a winner). The garlic naan comes in 2 pieces and it's the best when it's hot and you dip it into any of the sauces or wrap your meat in the naan and eat it... delish! Even if you're not a fan of Indian food you should give this place a try... a lot to chose from so tasty!"

"The amount of food I got, for the price I paid? Almost feels like a steal! The food was delicious! Ive never had chicken biryani before and i loved it! A bit spicy, very flavorful and definitely filling! They had whole bone in pieces of chicken so careful when taking a bite. "Wow! We've had some pretty subpar Indian on Door Dash and this is by far the best Indian food I've had in a long time! I called to ask if they could make the Aloo Gobi extra spicy and it was perfect. The Samosa Chaat was a perfect blend of spicy and sweet and the Chicken Tikka Masala was everything you'd want it to be.

Absolutely perfect balance of flavors and my taste buds have relished each and everything I ordered - Vegetarian Daily Special (Veg Kofta and Rajma) were awesome and it was nice to have Homely Tawa Roti Side. "The Methi (Fenugreek) Malai Chicken had zero flavor intensity. Couldn't taste the spices at all. The Aloo Gobhi (Potato Cauliflower) (Vegan)vegetable curry had almost no sauce which left the vegetables nicely fresh and firm and wasn't greasy but I would have liked a larger container with way more sauce to coat the Golden Rice which was fine. I'm so tired of restaurants with highly processed naan from a frozen mass market bag. What's the point if it's not freshly baked. We should only be paying $1 for it. Only Shalimar gets that right char and tandoor Butter Naan which is completely gummy and needs to be toasted at home a little. Nothing out of the ordinary. Meh on the whole cuisine. They need to up their game. Might give other dishes their a chance but the prices are too high."

"This is probably the most interesting and delicious Indian food in the East Bay. "
"I was looking forward to the food because of all the great reviews! I ordered delivery due to recovering from a medical procedure. I wanted to treat myself because of having gone through all that.
The chicken biryani is supposed to come with a whole Cornish hen --- it literally says this on their menu. The TINY container only included a quarter of that. It was so sad-looking. I had imagined that even if they couldn't fit the whole hen, that they would maybe split it into at least two containers? I would've expected more for a menu item that cost $32. It was also supposed to include garlic raita, which was nowhere to be seen.
I also got the much-raved-about Alleppey fish & prawn curry ($34), which similarly left much to be desired. The gravy here actually didn't taste that different from the biryani's korma sauce.
Disappointed in what feels like lesser quality and care when it comes to folks who aren't able-bodied enough to eat at the restaurant. If you're ordering to-go/delivery, definitely DO NOT order the chicken biryani or the fish and prawn curry. You'll wish you saved the money/Doordash credits. I don't think I'd order from here again. "I recently tried the Chicken Momo lapping and Khana set at 4 Dreams Nepal I & Indian Cuisine, and it was a great experience overall.
The Chicken Momo lapping was the highlight. The momos were soft, juicy, and well stuffed with flavorful minced chicken. The “lapping” style, covered in a rich, slightly spicy sesame based sauce, added a creamy and tangy kick that made the dish stand out. The sauce was balanced not too spicy, but enough to give a nice warmth. The portion size was generous and perfect for sharing, although I could easily finish it myself because it was that good.
The Khana set felt like a complete and comforting meal. It came with rice, dal, vegetable curry, chicken curry, achar, and salad. The rice was fresh and fluffy. The dal was simple yet comforting, with a homestyle Nepali flavor. The chicken curry was tender and well cooked, with spices blended nicely without being overpowering. The achar added the perfect spicy and tangy contrast to the meal. Everything tasted fresh and authentic, just like traditional Nepali home cooking.
The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Overall, I would definitely recommend 4 Dreams Nepal I & Indian Cuisine for anyone craving authentic Nepali and Indian food, especially their Chicken Momo lapping and Khana set. I will definitely be going back again."
"The Dahl Tadka tasted like thickened grease fat from the bottom of the pan, like you would use to make buskits and gravy. It had no flavor other than fat and salt. I ordered two in hopes that it would be great, but couldn't eat either of them.
I have never had such an experience with any Indian Dahl dish before .
The soup was very tasty and the broth flavorful. I hoped to have it mild as I was recovering from surgery and was supposed to avoid spicy food. I'll order the soup again when I'm feeling better"
