I called Malai to ask whether their ice cream was prepackaged, as my daughter is currently in the hospital and can only have prepackaged items due to her doctor-prescribed limited diet. Chanel was incredibly patient and understanding. She carefully explained which ice creams were prepackaged and let me know what was currently in stock. She even stayed on the phone with me while I placed my order so she could personally accept it, ensure the correct prepackaged ice cream was selected, and pack it properly for my daughter.

Even then, her generosity didn’t end there. When the delivery arrived, Chanel had quietly added another pint, purchased out of her own pocket. "My Fried Egg Sandwich was great. I love the cheddar biscuit. It's always fresh and moist. I love the texture. I added honey butter x2 but I honestly couldn't taste it. I wish I could get it on the side. But they don't have that as option. I also added bacon which was two full slices of bacon so I was happy with that.
The Key Lime Pie donut is so good. My only suggestion to the restaurant is that they would consider how it's packaged. This donut has a lot of frosting and also graham crackers...so putting it in a paper bag and covering it with paper makes it super messy and harder to enjoy. I think donuts like this should be placed in the containers they put the sandwiches in.
Overall love this place and I will have to stop myself from ordering once a week."
