"I know this is the closest L&L to me but it just doesn't taste anywhere near as good as any of the other L&Ls in the area. I've been eating at the other L&Ls for years and I know the flavors as if they came out of my own kitchen, and this particular L&L always misses the mark. The Loco Moco gravy always tastes like it was made with nothing but 15lbs of black pepper and black pepper only. There is SO MUCH black pepper in this gravy that I can see the black pepper all over the gravy, the eggs, the rice, and the hamburger patty! Absolutely nothing needs THAT much pepper, and if it does then you're making it WRONG!
