For some odd reason, they added cheese to the sauce. Traditionally, Italian cooking doesn't add cheese to seafood dishes. If cheese is requested, it should be grated and served in a separate container. Adding it to the sauce caused it to congeal into blobs. Unfortunately, the shrimp were also overcooked. They were hard, grainy, and tasted like they had been soaking in tap water and bland. Ideally, they should've been steamed or lightly pan-fried. They were probably added to the sauce after boiling, so the sauce had no Shrimp flavor."
