I have never written a review for any restaurant on DoorDash before, But let my tell you Rib Shack honestly deserves one, and let me tell you why.
I am pretty much a creature of habit, so I get the same meal when I decide not to eat homemade lunch. Every time I order out consistently, for over almost the last year, they have always had good service and good food, and they always go above and beyond.
For example, today I ordered a catfish meal and a brisket slider. Nowhere in my order did I request a drink, and yet, just for great customer service, they threw in two drinks.
Everything is always well prepared and kept warm. The portions are a really, really good size, and it tastes like authentic soul food for a fraction of the price. You would pay the same for a full meal at some of these other places that claim to be the best in town.
Lastly, I think the biggest bang for your buck when it comes to Rib Shack is their catering. So, if you’re catering for a work lunch, a family gathering, or some type of church function, you’re going to get tons of food, really well prepared, warm, in nice foil pans, looking fantastic, and it’s going to cost you nowhere near what it would to get it from Famous Dave's or Dickey's or some of those other "fake" barbecue places.
But that’s just my opinion, and everyone should definitely give Rib Shack a shot.

Texas de Brazil delivered an outstanding meal from beginning to end. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and prepared extremely well.
The flank steak was the highlight—tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly medium to medium-well. It had excellent flavor and was exactly what you want from a Brazilian steakhouse. The sausage was also fantastic, with a great seasoned flavor and just the right texture.
The cucumber salad was fresh, crisp, and refreshing, making it a perfect balance to the meats. The garlic mashed potatoes were creamy, smooth, and full of flavor. Add the Brazilian cheese bread and chimichurri, and the entire meal came together perfectly.
Then came the Brazilian cheesecake. Absolutely outstanding! Rich, creamy, and delicious without being overly heavy. It was the perfect way to finish the meal.
Even though this was delivery, the quality of the food still came through. Everything tasted like care went into preparing it.

Gyoza (4) is not worth your time. The dumpling itself is flavorless and it felt like any amount of soy sauce did not make it enjoyable.
Crab Rangoon (4) is not much better although it does have my preferred shape (triangular). The sweet and sour sauce is really watery and doesn't stick to or add much flavor to the rangoons making them sort of plain/taste like just cream cheese.
Korean short ribs came with a macoroni salad and rice and the whole order came with a free side of miso soup with seaweed and tofu bits and a spicy tuna roll:
The macaroni salad was a bit different from the ones at other Hawaiian bbqs I've tried across the states but was very savory and quite enjoyable.
The miso soup was pretty solid. Nothing special but a decent miso nonetheless.
The sticky rice is just unseasoned rice. Arrived a bit dry. Plain old rice nonetheless I have nothing to complain about.
The spicy tuna roll came with 6 pieces and was a little below average as far as tuna rolls go for me. Flavor was okay but was definitely lacking in the quality department in terms of freshness. The wasabi and ginger were super low quality.
The short ribs themselves had a good flavor but were a bit overcooked or maybe I just got a really chewy batch of them.
They included napkins, chopsticks, and a plastic utensil set which was not specified on the order but included anyway which I consider a bonus.
Overall I'll give the restaurant a 6.5/10 based on what I ordered. I do like the fact they do half orders (orders of 4) for their appetizers. It allows the average person to try more things on each order since the price reflects the amount of food you're getting. You also get a decent amount of food for you entree so I'd say value per dollar is the main redeeming factor for this restaurant."

"This restaurant has my favorite Blue Cheese salad. It is a meal on its own10/10. I also ordered the Pesto Chicken Pizza and LOVED it. I added Feta cheese, which went well with the Kalamata olives, and extra Pesto sauce. The pizzas say individual but are large and could easily feed two. Thin crust, generous with the toppings compared to many pizza places. The price is right for what you get. Definitely would order this again. Thank you for a great dining experience!"
