Some places were way overpriced for poor quality (like charging $28 for a thin, tasteless cutlet), and others started off okay but got worse over time. Today was my first time ordering from King Katsu, and I am so incredibly happy! The tonkatsu is literally larger than an adult's face, yet it is so tender and flavorful. I also love how they carefully pack the meat in a separate paper box so it doesn't get soggy or mixed with other sauces. It’s so clean and thoughtful. I got the extra spicy. it wasn't that spicy but it still added an extra little bit of depth and flavor that's quite enjoyable (also my tolerance for spice may be slightly higher than average)
