"We are completely disappointed with the service and food of this restaurant. Firstly, they have the item in the order without our notice. We ordered chicken dum biryani and they repalced it with chicken Fried rice. Fried rice which was sent was stale and it smelling awful.
Secondly,Egg noodles and Chicken soup were also smelling bad.
This is unacceptable to send stale food and replacing the ordered items with our notice. I would never order again. Order total was nearly $100. Waste of money."

"New restaurant in my area and I was very excited to try this. Chicken Biryani (Boneless) was fine. Unfortunately , Goat Sukha portion is very less. Felt as if I paid for full plate but received half plate food . Chicken Korma was average . As you can see in the picture gravy is more n chicken pieces are comparatively less.
Overall I would give them a 2 star and will think twice before ordering from here. "

"I ordered the tofu saag and it was literally unseasoned, barely cooked tofu and thawed frozen spinach that was also barely cooked. Not a hint of a spice, not even salt, to be detected. The garlic naan was somehow bland. Like a dry naan with some minced garlic sprinkled on top. I know it's supposed to be vegan but they couldn't toast it up with some garlic and canola oil. The samosa were run-of-the-mill deep fried, samosa so no complaint there but nothing extraordinary. The saag in particular was inedible. I literally threw it out."

The samosa chaat street food blew our minds there was so much goodness going on, the variety in texture, temperature, taste was all there - and I was delighted to find a paneer biryani - something most Indian restaurants don’t bother to offer. I’m a traditionalist - I’m always happy to find whole cinnamon sticks, cardamom pods, plums and tamarind in my biryanis. Even the side dish of jasmine rice is tasty. Makes we want to go back and try the desserts. I would compare the food of Taj to the upscale Indian restaurant in Red Bank, Bombay River, with more options and not as expensive. Just a delight. "I ordered the HYDERABADI CHICKEN DUM BIRYANI expecting to get at the very minimum three pieces of chicken in it. Normally when you order this dish you receive at least a drumstick and thigh at the very least, plus they're usually a decent size/portion if it's only going to be two pieces. Unfortunately this order came with just one reg thigh and a smaller thigh which I found odd and I was slightly annoyed by it. I did appreciate that they kept the onions and lime wrapped on the side instead of putting it on top of the rice like other restaurants do. All in all the biriyani was good, I just wish it had more chicken in the order obviously or at least larger pieces."
