"Ordered the Family Sampler Brisket, Ribs, Sausage and Personal Sampler. EXPENSIVE and maybe 3/5 stars. The highlights: (regular) corn muffins and that butter were INCREDIBLE. The brisket was the most tender and best tasting, the ribs and Sweet N' Smokey Wings (10) were very dry and hard, sausage was juicy and the mac and cheese was tasteless. They add some dry dill seasoning to the "cheese sauce" and it doesn't work. Beans were mid, as were the potato sides and coleslaw. Family sides were very small portions (individual sizes are tiny). Not going on our list of local favorites by any means. 3 out of 5 starts."

"First time trying city barbeque and it was great overall. The One Chicken Tender was juicy and had really great flavor, and is 100% worth ordering more in the future. The Individual Rib Bones were a little dry but it had a lot of meat and had a good rub that went really well with the sauce. I don't think it was so dry that it was unacceptable. Our favorite was the Texas-Style Sausage the snap and the Texas toast was just great, however do not ruin it with the coleslaw!!! (at most get it on the side). This was not great coleslaw it was soggy salty cabbage with mayo and nothing else. As for the 3 Sides Plate the corn pudding was the best! The greens had a strong peppery flavor that could be polarizing but I liked. The weakest side was the potato salad it was very mashed and over salted and just not the most pleasant to eat. We really enjoyed the food and despite the few criticisms this place really is on our order again list."
