"Unbelievable how they pass their dishes off as per their PICTURED PLATES. The Roasted Turkey plate was a joke, with just 6, 1 inch pieces of turkey. I did taste good and not dry, BUT nothing like the Photo they post. The TEXAS TOAST was literally 2 PIECES of regular sized WHITE BREAD (like in a loaf of Wonder Bread) lightly buttered with garlic. The Spicy Cole Slaw was fresh and good, but far from spicy and not one peanut. The beans were good. We used to eat at the Armadillo's in Santa Clara that closed and we're so excited to read all about Empire claiming to have the same standards as Armadillo Willeys. I paid a lot of money for my order and will never patronize Empire again. My suggestion when there is a delivery order, treat it as the same as dining in, no speedy shortcuts or thinking we don't expect our ORDERS to be like the PHOTO you use to represent your products.

"I have been a fan of Pollo Loco for its freshness and quantity of the end product for many years now.
For the last six months I've tried my best to stay with this eatery but I've given too many excuses and have been silent too long. I'm sure I am not alone on this opinion.
I always used to order the Three piece meal until the chicken began to shrink. I now order the Four piece meal they've renamed Four piece Half Chicken Meal to create the atmosphere you're getting a lot of chicken. We know this is a lie.
They not only mislead you to be believe it's one price when you find out you need to pay more if you want the breast (white meat). This in itself is a joke as you are supposed to get 4 pieces of chicken when you actually get two breast pieces that equal the quantity of 1 piece breast once you take it apart.
A majority of the meat is either bones or dried up chunks of chicken. The other two pieces they give are wings that looked like they belonged to a Zombie chicken because it looked dark and dehydrated. There was not one piece of edible chicken on the wings!
One last negative was the item cart each restaurant has that make the meal such as different types of salsa, onions, extra whole chiles and especially the Cilantro are no longer accessible through DoorDash. You have no options to request these extra items and there is never enough salad dressing given (which sometimes is watered down) so when ordering salads rest assured you will end up with a dry salad!
The sad thing about this is that I'm not describing a bad DoorDash day, it happens every time I go to this restaurant! Most successful eateries are still around because they remain different compared to your everyday fast food joints.
I certainly hope that Pollo Loco decides to turn around from becoming a generic fast food joint. Stop over cooking and drying up what used to be juicy, smoky natural chicken that melts in your mouth!! Bring back the greatness you proudly served before."

This evening's order has multiple issues with it. I ordered a pulled chicken sando. If this was supposed to be pulled chicken that is what expect to see on my sandwich. I received small pieces of chicken that were not pulled: the ciabatta roll was also stale.
The baked beans were awful. The baked beans were cooked to just a state that all of the moisture was cooked out of them. It looked like I got the bottom of a pan of beans that should have been pitched. It was a messy glop of beans with some kind of seasoning that needed some serious attention by kitchen staff.
The only highlight was the 1/3 burger. I ordered that again this evening. It was very good. "
