"I hadn’t eaten at Taqueria Flores in years, but after reading the reviews, I decided to give them another try. Unfortunately, I should have trusted my gut and saved my $40.
I ordered the tostadas, the crunchy taco special, and queso. I only wanted bean tostadas, but the order required me to select a protein, so I chose chicken. I even picked the food up myself, thinking that would ensure the tostadas and tacos were fresh and crunchy. I live only about four minutes away, but by the time I got home, everything was already soggy.
The tostadas had very little flavor and seemed to have more tomatoes and cheese than lettuce. The “crunchy” tacos were just as disappointing—they were soggy rather than crisp and lacked flavor as well.
The queso was another disappointment. It tasted sour and was surprisingly bland, with very little of the rich, cheesy flavor you expect from good queso. Between the soggy food and the sour-tasting queso, there really wasn’t anything about the meal that I enjoyed.
Both the tacos and tostadas were part of a buy-one-get-one-free special, but unfortunately, getting twice as much disappointing food didn’t make it a better deal.
Next time, I’ll stick with the food truck near Exxon. Their tacos and tostadas are made to order, fresh, crunchy, and packed with flavor. I really wanted to enjoy Taqueria Flores again, but this experience was a disappointment and definitely not worth the $40 I spent."

And the servers, host & hostesses and other workers and management have nailed customer service and are extremely polite and accommodating with special requests (eg, leaving the chicken off or packing it separate when ordering the "chicken fajita nachos" but want them to be vegetarian. (Frankly, I wish there was a feature on DoorDash that would let customers modify their orders of nachos to say "no chicken" (there is a screen where customers can modify the nachos, but leaving the chicken off. Please make that change!! You would get a lot more business from us at least if we could order the chicken fajita nachos "without the chicken" without having to call and ask a manager to please notify the kitchen of the request). In the meantime, the Vegetarian Enchiladas are AWESOME!!!!!! And the portion size is perfect if you're super hungry, and enough to share otherwise if you want any of your friends or family that join you when going to Pappasitos, so they'll taste how great they are and order their own!!!
