"This place is always cooking the best food ever. I ordered the Vegan Shawarma Plate , Dolma (6pcs), Pita Bread, and Iraqi Salad to my job while I was working a slow day at the register. "I’ve had chicken shawarma many times before and usually really enjoy it, but unfortunately I didn’t care for the flavor here. The chicken itself seemed like good quality, but the seasoning/flavor was extremely strong and just wasn’t enjoyable to me. I also tried the sauces that came with it and didn’t really care for those either, so overall the flavors just weren’t for me.
I was also pretty disappointed with the salad. It was mostly a large pile of lettuce with only two cucumber slices, two tomato slices, and some shredded onion. I specifically chose the plate because I was looking forward to having cucumber and a fresh salad with my meal, so I expected a more balanced portion of the vegetables rather than almost entirely lettuce.
Nothing seemed wrong with the quality of the food—it just wasn’t enjoyable flavor-wise for me, and I wish the salad had been more substantial.
