They had a BOGO on the salad, gyro plate, and hummus so that’s what I got along with the Moussaka tapenade, if it hadn’t been bogo I’d be a little annoyed, the portions are insanely small and it’s mostly bread, the salad was shoved in a bread bowl, the gyro meat plate was 6 pieces of meat and the rest just copious amounts of bread, and the hummus and tapenade barely covered the bottom of the take out container. For $18 for the gyro plate, and $9 and $10 for the hummus and tapenade I’d expect so much more. Also, I asked for water and was surprised that they don’t sell bottled water or have bottled water— all they have is tap water, which was extremely surprising for a restaurant with these kinds of prices."

The gyro “pita," however, had the exact same look, size, taste, and texture of an authentic - as much as flour tortillas can be - think Austin flour tortilla (not the grocery store kind). This is not a complaint, just a confusing observation. We lived in Manhattan for a decade, where we both fell in love with this cuisine - and each other - and we're giddy about what we sampled today. This is not the old-school, somewhat dry shaved meat that one typically associates with gyro.

"This place is great. I order here several times a week and especially love the chili cheese fries. I see a lot of complaints about about the shrimp and sandwiches being dry. These sandwiches are absolutely LOADED with meat and toppings. It is all too easy to order extra sauces or just add some yourself. The shrimp are regular 100+ count shrimp and they are copious. I guess people are expecting jumbo 15-20 count shrimp on a $10 dollar Philly but that's just unreasonable, in my opinion. The food is EXACTLY as advertised and I would ignore such complaints. 9/10 because VERY RARELY my fries has been slightly undercooked (and they sent me new fries so not a problem but I can see how that might be inconvenient for most). Other than that, I have no complaints and would highly recommend this restaurant for people who are feeding a lot of mouths. One Philly can EASILY feed 2-3 people and the prices are very affordable. This is a very different kind of falafal, but it was absolutely delicious. The pitas are home made and fluffy. The falafel are the Egyptian style green falafel.
I got the platter so I could just make multiple pita sammiches with it.

Oh my gosh.
The frozen lemonade was minty, not too sweet, and awesome!
