Otherwise usually not bad, but not great. The food is generally warm and tasty, if not a bit dry. The fried items are literally never particularly crispy or fresh though. I guess flaccid French toast and mildly undercooked hash browns are just what we're expected to expect from a chain like this.
In general, it satisfies the craving, but they definitely make it a pain in the wallet with burger prices usually more than twice the cost of an In-N-Out Double-Double "

"I've always enjoyed the donuts from World's Fare. My father used to be a frequent customer and get them for us, and sometimes his coworkers. We'd either get one ONE DOZEN DONUTS or two. My mother's favorite is the powdered sugar JELLY FILLED, but the glazed is an OK backup from ordering on DoorDash. The MAPLE FILLED BAR & CHOCOLATE FILLED BAR are good, even though my usual preference is the regular, non filled version.The main reason I prefer this place over others, is because of the size of their items. They've made them larger over the years and still worth the price. My #1 top favorite is the CINNAMON ROLL . No lies, if you were to get stuck somewhere in traffic or a snowstorm with a box of these, you could probably survive with a few of the APPLE FRITTERs,. They're HUGE! "I often door dash from this place. The Lois Famous Pineapple Ice Tea. Is probably the best thing I have ever had. I order it every time. The food is always hot and the hashbrows have such a good flavor and are never soggy. The food is not greasey but I think they use butter to cook with. I would skip the toast get english muffin no butter/ butter on side that way you can toast at work or home. If you order the pancakes don't forget to ask for butter on the side. "I pre-ordered this for delivery two hours later. The dasher delivered everything on time and I immediately started eating. So excuses of delivery delays of me not eating it right away do not factor into this. My turkey pesto sandwich was so soggy, it was like a sponge. One side was also very burnt, but the sogginess made scraping the burnt section off easier, so there's that. It was also room temperature cold - and since they grill it like a panini, my guess is that they made it very early, then left it to sit and the condensation made it soggy. (The inside of the container was full of water droplets.) The amount of turkey was also very light - the sandwich was practically flat. The chai tea was good (very spicy), the pesto flavoring on the sandwich was good, and the side salad was good. But for over $20 total for a turkey sandwich and the tiniest chai tea I've ever seen, I expected much more than spongy, burnt and cold bread."
