"This is my favorite place. I seriously order here 1 to 2 times a week. The chicken and rice are amazing but honestly, it's the salad and the salad dressing that keeps me coming back. Can anyone please share the salad dressing recipe with me? It's so dang good."
"El Gordo restaurant is my go to! I always the 1/2 pollo with yellow rice and side salad. The chicken is sooo good with perfectly crispy flavorful skin and juicy meat. The rice is great, too. But my absolute favorite is the side salad. Idk what magic they put in the dressing but is always so fresh and delicious. Do not sleep on this place!!"

"I've ordered from here multiple times and the pollo a la brasa and platano maduros are always on point. Also the Aji Verde sauce is delicious but has some kick so beware but highly recommend it. I'd definitely order again and what's great is I can usually get multiple meals out of an order for me and my wifensobthe portion sizes are great."
"The chicken combo (chicken lots of flavor) unfortor it being a combo family size the rice is extremely disproportionate especially when the other lena y carbon serve the exact same menu for a lower price and alot more food. Ill stick to driving another 10 mins to the other sites.."

"As you can see, I couldn't wait to eat! And it was 10/10! DELICIOUS! The lomo was juicy, & tasteful! The tallarin con pollo was AMAZING! Everything was delicious! The aji was perfect consistency, & was fresh. I recommend 100%"
"The PLATANO MADURO was so dry and not very sweet. The CEVICHE DE PESCADO was ok. The CHAUFA DE POLLO was good, slightly salty, but I can't believe they provide one tiny half filled container of verde sauce. Spending $20 for Chaufa and getting 1 half filled sauce is a little wild. "

"The whole chicken itself is a 10, the flavors combined with the green sauce was everything! The chaufa and the salad was part of the sides and they weren't stingy with the food! Best money I spent in a while!"

"The sandwich is huge and one of my favorite things when in the mood for a great hot sandwich. My daughter loved the nachos and they are actually a bigger portion than expected, which was wonderful I got to pick off some too lol. Over all a Great meal soo worth the price for the amount of food we both got we have tons of left overs. We always order from here and will again !"
"This will be a bit long. The PECHUGA A LA COLOMBIANA was delicious as always. The chicken is always grilled to perfection in both entrees we purchased ( PECHUGA A LA COLOMBIANA and PECHUGA A LA PLANCHA)
and we were very happy with the freshnesss. We would always reorder them! The chicken portion is so large and it would honestly make two meals! We love that we can choose the two sides and don't need to order rice that we normally don't eat at all. This helps us make sure we are getting great value for our money! We will say though that $15 for the CAMARONES AL AJILLO is a bit too much for us, as there were only 6 shrimps total. However they were delicious. The PAISITA is great value because it has a large portion and has a delicious variety of food items. The chicken empanada was amazing and I can't wait to have another! Overall we were extremely happy with our order and would recommend this place all the time! Thank you!"

"While the Chaufa Mixto could've used just a bit more seasoning, both it and the Tallarin Saltado tasted excellent. One word of caution: the portion sizes are absolutely enormous; each dish could easily feed two people with a bit left over. Also, they don't skimp on the protein. A lot of places are stingy with the shrimp, but the Tallarin was loaded with it.
This was my first time ordering from El Sabor Peruano, but it won't be my last."

"Portions were giant and the beef was so flavorful and had no fatty pieces. 10/10!"
"the saltado was too dry.when you serve something with rice, you must keep certain level of sauce in the dish. this dish actually irritated my throat as it was hard to swallow. also, due to the lack of sayce, the umami flavor was missing, and there was no flame cooked flavor either. I have had much tastier saltado for less than what this costs"

"Tallarín a la Huancaína con Pechuga de Pollo / Huancaína Style Noodles with Chicken was super delicious and made fresh."
"French fries were soggy from steam build inside the styrofoam with the chicken next to them. Literally some of them were wet. They put a note on the receipt because I asked for dark meat chicken only saying "for this order only, 1/2 chicken is whole half of chicken". The chicken was dry and the salad had no dressing. Lots of hot sauces but I'm not into that."

"The food was very very good! I'm so happy I found a peruvian place that delivers to me!! The chaufa was soooo good and the kids looove the rotisserie chicken. Definitely getting food from them again."
"Horrible. Chaufa was very salty. Chaufa had no eggs and wasn't mixed right as there was clumped up white rice in it. And since when does the Chaufa contain green and red peppers? As for the Tallarines Verde it was either passed due or made with vinegar, everyone tasted the same at first and it got all tossed away at $70+ gone on a bad meal. I'm guessing a new chef took place. They used to cook good Peruvian Dishes a few years ago. Our last time after this encounter."

"Chuleta a lo Pobre and aji was very good exactly what I was looking for flavor wise my only problem was the pork chop was very fatty. Amazing portion size was worth the price and also followed my special instruction :). Excited to try their Chaufa next!"

"Meal for 5 It took longer than expected but definitely worth the wait. It is a lot of food, so depending on how much you eat it could definitely feed more than 5 people.
The Pastelon / Pionono Empanada was delicious and like all the other empanadas we tried it was really stuffed.
We were here on vacation but definitely would love to have it close to home."
"We ordered the family meal for 3with the rotisserie chicken. It's a delicious meal and great if you have a lot of people to feed. The only thing is last time we ordered the salad was bad and we had to throw it out. It is the first time it happened, but just wanted to let the restaurant know to double check that. The greens were not good in it (soggy and bad). But, this is one of our fave places! "

"Food was amazing Pan con Chicharron / Bread with Chicharron on point. so delicious and fresh. I loved how they put the ingredients on the side. def ordering again"
"I ordered 2 entrees, store confirmed the order and then sent only 1 of the dishes, refunding the second one as it was -apparently- out of stock. Lack of communication, no option to replace it for something else, just an incomplete order for a family of 2.
As for the entree I did get, it was a Chaufa de Chaufa de Pollo / Chicken Peruvian Style Fried Rice despite the flavor being good and the portion being generous, there was barely any chicken to be found in there so essentially it was plain fried rice.
I will not be ordering again"
