"Orange chicken was fire (really good) if I had it there instead of delivery it would've been perfect. Nice crunch perfect flavor. Crab Rangoon were good. Sweet and sour sauce was also great, it's the really sweet kind, which is the good kind IMO. "
"When ordering a la cart, the portions are super small, but so expensive! Also I ordered two sets of spring rolls and only got 2 total. Order was supposed to feed myself and my daughters but was only enough food for 1 person. First and last time ordering a la cart.
Food tasted good! Just super small portions and they didn't include the second set of spring rolls."

"Rolls are very small compared to other restaurants, Godzilla Roll we for sure thought would be bigger and enough for a meal but it wasnt. Portions were more of a snack size, Crabmeat Salad was quite small as well. Food was fresh and good just not worth the price when DoorDashed better picked up from store to avoid fees. "
"The manager Jenny at the store is absolutely amazing!!' She cares about quality and consistency and has believed in amazing, flavorful food for years ever since she opened up the store!! It's a hit every single time! Mizu will forever be my go-to for their signature sushi rolls and hibachi. Their sake is also amazing. Don't hesitate on this place!! Worth the price!"

"Loved the flavor. There should be more meat, there was only 5 bite size beef pieces, And I was charged extra for beef. Otherwise I did order a lunch portion but was still very large! 4 stars only because of meat amount."
"Peanut noodles medium spice. Sauce on top of noodles that was not enough to coat all the noodles when mixed. I selected
Tofu for the protein and there were 5 pieces. Only a few veggies. So, essentially it was a bland bowl of plain noodles with a little heat (spice) to it. Overly priced for what was received. I rarely give poor reviews. I'm giving it 3 starts because it was hot and freshly made and restaurants cannot always be perfect . Hopefully, this review is noted and improve upon this dish for other customers."

"the Vegan Pho is unbelievably flavorful. it came with the broth piping hot, the perfect amount of veggies and rice noodles, and a flgenerous portion of sprouts, jalapeños, and herbs.. so fresh and full of flavors. the Crab Meat Rangoon (5 Pieces) was still warm and crispy. super tasty- my favorite place for the rangoons. i will be ordering again, probably soon!"
"I've ordered a number of times before, but this time it was awful. The spring rolls were raw, flavorless, and cold. The kimchi was more of a soup with a generous TWO pieces of tofu. The egg drop soup was horrible and tasted more like gravy. Will not be ordering again."

"Food quality? Mediocre. Ordered two bowl combos, one sesame, one orange. When we went to grab our food, we realized that both bowls were the exact same, and we couldn't tell what the sauce tasted like. Zero sesame seeds, and not a hint of any orange flavoring.
As for the portion sizes, if you're going to charge out the wazoo for your food, at least give people enough food to make sure they're full.
The Bao was probably the best part of the entire meal, and I'm fairly certain they come frozen.

"This place will wow you! The flavor, portions and price were all perfect. The General Tsao's Chicken is not as sweet and syrupy as you get at other places. It's also fried hard. Both of those were pluses for me. Most people can probably tolerate a 3 spice level. I prefer the 4. Every element of the Combination Fried Rice was well prepared. The beef was not that gray chewy stuff you get other places. It was beautifully seared and flavorful. The shrimp were larger than average and not overcooked. They were well seasoned too. Do yourself a favor and try this place."
"Best Chinese food in the metro! Was devastated when Shang Yuen switched ownership but so happy the family recipes live on through Heavenly! The beef is so tender! The chicken so crispy! "This is my favorite Pho place in the city! Ive tried all of the Pho places that ive heard of in the Des Moines Area. Tonight I ordered a new dish to try the Beef in a Leaf/ Rice. It was very tasty, I was said I wasnt getting Pho but the restaurant included a small soup size of pho broth with my order so that made up for it! A must try!"
"The portions at Pho Viet are legit. You definitely won’t leave hungry. The pho bowls are packed, and there’s a good balance of noodles, meat, and broth. Honestly feels like you’re getting your money’s worth every time. Perfect if you’re super hungry—or want some leftovers for later."

"Delicious Philadelphia roll with very tasty salmon. The COCONUT CRAB SOUP was my favorite , however the portion was small and there were shells throughout. Overall it is quite expensive for what you get."
"Have ordered from here before with zero issues. This time we are completely missing the *NEGI YELLOWTAIL (GF) roll. All of the gluten free and gluten containing items were mixed and some of the sauces weren't labeled and we didn't even receive all of the correct sauces for the rolls. Pretty disappointed for the cost of $170 in sushi to not even have everything we ordered. Will wait until we visit Omaha again as their location is far better than DSM."

"The best crab Rangoon but needs to come with more sweet and sour sauce. The sesame chicken entree - I appreciate the smaller, crispier chunks of chicken the most but would like more sauces Everything is always fresh even when ordering for delivery."
"Don't normally leave reviews, but here we go. We paid $90 for the worst sushi experience of our lives. Crab Rangoons were the best part minus their temp. Not sure what the pink mystery wrapping was around the Cupid Roll? There were lemon slices, including the peel, hidden under the sauce on the Chef Special Roll. Lemon is all we could taste. The portion size of the Mad Max and French Kiss rolls were small, and similar to the size of $8 regular roll. We would have been better off picking out sushi from Gateway Market or Hy-Vee. This may explain why the restaurant was empty at 7:20pm on a Saturday night. We won't be back."

"My girlfriend and I tried this place for the first time tonight and the highest compliment that I can give it is. we're already looking forward to ordering it again. I would most highly recommend the wings (which have the perfect level of crunch), the cheese balls which are slightly sweet, and the French fries which have a really unique seasoning. Everything that we tasted on the menu was delicious though! Food arrived hot and fresh! Combo (Wings & Drums) Korean Cheese Ball Seasoned Fries"
"First time trying and wings are delicious! very nice crunch on the outside, inside cooked perfectly. I got the soy garlic - excellent flavor. I wish I had a side of it as a sauce to dip in. Also did not realize that by the size small: 4 wings, 2 drums - that it was two regular size legs, nice surprise! will order again "

"We recently ordered from 30Hop and had the best meal! Our food arrived exactly as we ordered it and looked even better than the pictures. The Salmon Zen Bowl was one of the best rice bowls I've ever had with a large piece of well seasoned salmon and full of many different fresh veggies. The sandwiches were cooked to perfection and loaded with fresh ingredients. The portions were definitely more than we could eat and tasted great the next day. We can't wait to order from 30Hop again and try more of their amazing food! A great location and a must visit if you are in Ankeny!"
"First time customer, and unfortunately, more of the items I ordered were disappointing than enjoyable.
The Wings: Boneless was easily the best item. I actually ended up using it as the protein for the noodle dish because the crispy chicken that came with the Yakisoba Bowl had a strange texture and wasn’t enjoyable. I’m glad I ordered the boneless wings because they gave me an alternative.
The Truffle Fries were also disappointing. You could smell a slight hint of truffle oil, and you could clearly see the cheese on top, but there was very little flavor overall. They tasted bland and didn’t resemble the truffle fries I’ve had elsewhere.
The Very Berry Salad was another miss. The yogurt based dressing (I’m assuming that’s what it was) was extremely sweet. At first, I honestly thought it was a diluted icing because it was that sweet. I couldn’t eat it. The balsamic that came with it was also extremely thick, almost like a paste or molasses. It just didn’t feel appropriate for a lighter salad with fruit. The dressing should complement the dish rather than overpower it.
Unfortunately, overall, this was not a successful purchase, and I wouldn’t order from here again.
One other thing worth mentioning: there was plenty of room in my bag to properly secure it with staples or tape. It’s always disappointing when a restaurant misses that simple opportunity to provide an additional layer of security and reassurance that the order hasn’t been tampered with. Staples and a stapler are inexpensive, so this seems like an easy step that could improve the customer experience."

"This is one of my favorite meals in all of DSM. It is so good every time with a ton of Salmon. And the owners are so nice and always make my experience excellent. There is sometimes a little wait, but it is so worth it and everything is being made to order so it is so fresh!"
"Omg this food was absolutely amazing!!! I don't ever write reviews or even often fill out any feedback. This food was good enough to make me stop eating and make sure I give this a bit of love. I'm not going to be able to finish because I over ordered that being said the proportion is generous and the flavor is on point. I'm thoroughly thrilled with this location and will be ordering from here as often as I'm in town. This is my new go to food for this city. So good! I had two rolls both amazing rainbow and tuna and a grilled salmon poke I'm a picky eater and I'm just diving right into this it's so fresh."

"This is the best Indian food in town. Not only is the food made fresh and with love, the customer service is exceptional. I placed a catering order for my company event recently and not only the owner gave a great pricing, they offered to set it up for free. Awesome family owned business. This is my goto spot for great fresh food."
"food came nicely and warm. However, quantity/portion has gone down since they first opened. flavour wasn't truly there for the food. Overall was a disappointed meal.
Goat Curry was very small for such a price. Asked to get extra spicy. Doesn't seem to be any different.
Paneer Tikka was extremely dry. The Paneer was like rubber. Non sponginess that you get from typical paneer. They were burnt. Green pepper weren't. very small portion for such price point.
Mango Lassi was good as always.
Naan was a mess. some burnt worse than other. about 50% of the 2 naans were just crunchy like crackers... what!!!
Tandoori Roti was moist and good."
