"Without a shadow of a doubt, Roma IS the flagship of all Italian restaurants in the Naugatuck Valley and I dare say New Haven. Everything on the menu is prepared beyond reproach and the presentation or delivery packaging is equally perfect. Look no further for the very best in Italian specialties. "
"What a great find! We got a small white Pizza Verdura and a large pepperoni with fresh basil. The texture and flavor of the crust is excellent--- great chew and char, topped with high quality ingredients.
I initially screwed up my Doordash order and had to call to fix it. The worker was super chill about it and handled it with no hassle.
We will order again! I'm honestly embarrassed I never knew about this spot until now. It's a real contender to Roseland's. "

"The extra cheese pizza was very good. We got the extra large size. It was a crowd pleaser. I love the margarita pizza, but my sister thought it had too much garlic. I like too much garlic. Anyway the cheesy garlic bread had a lot of cheese on it."
"SPECTACULAR pizza from
Zois Pizza.
This time we made a pizza, only,
order, and we were THRILLED
with the results.
The Veggie Special was packed with
peppers, olives, onions, mushrooms
and a generous amount of cheese.
With a Neapolitan crust, this amount
of vegetables would have made it
soggy. But with Zois, the cake-like
Greek crust, absorbed water given
off by the veggies and still remained
crispy and toothsome. The large
portion of cheese balanced the lack
of processed meats. So Zois makes
it easier to eat healthy !
A similar story for the Veggie Flor-
entine. Veggies give off more water
per item, but the Greek crust had a
firm and dry undercarriage and the
rim was crunchy and toast-like.
DELICIOUS!
Zois Pizza is never a disappointment
and always a treat.
Thank You."

"I am an Italian New Yorker and this pizza hands down is the absolute most incredible pizza in CT. I've tried so many spots and nothing touched NY pizza. This is not NY pizza but it's its own incredible style. I don't know how to explain it. It's a regular pizza, does not remind me of NY pizza but is equally as incredible and its quality is consistent, every single time. I order large pie light bake light cheese. Unreal every time. "Best pizza I've had in a while. I think it's also a better deal than a lot of other delivery in terms of portion or overall amount. Delivered hot and fresh. Will order again for sure. Try the medium or large cheese."
"what can I say, they have a great pie at a competitive price and although I understand everyone has an off day; today, was not one of them, for them.
I was left happily and gratefully satisfied. Their sauce is tasty, the crust was made to my specific request, "slightly on the well done side." and they weren't cheap with the pepperoni. AND..., they didn't forget the drink. win win for me
I was also impressed with how quickly they were able to get the order out, at a time I know to be a rush.

"Everything is amazing. The Side Brussel Sprouts were crispy, Kids Mozzarella Sticks were so tasy and the portion sizes for the kids meal are perfect. Not too much but not too little to where my daughter will still want something else. The chicken tastes so fresh and I would DEFINITELY order this exact meal again!"
"Kids Cheese Pizza was incredible and a deal as some had mentioned. The side salad was substantial with a great house dressing."

"The flavor of the stuffing is delicious but there is a lot compared to the size of the shrimp.. was a little too much stuffing for my liking. Potato was amazing and perfectly mashed! Veggies were aldente and fresh."
"Steak cooked perfectly as requested to a true rare/mooing/bloody. Thank you!Everything except the french fries was outstanding. The fries had the brown/overcooked taste. 20 oz bone in NY Strip great size! Wish there was a mash potatoe side option for it on doordash. Quality and fresh food all around. Carrot cake for Two was very fresh today and always tastes great."

"So good, best food we got from doordash in a long time, Kenzie's Chicken Sandwich was outstanding and a good sized sandwich, gf got the Wild Caught Salmon and she loved it. Even the kids ate all their food. "
"My gf really loves their 12 Oz. New York Strip. She says it's flavorful, cooked perfectly and delicious. They were a bit skimpy with the mashed potatoes this time for both entrees, but we will still love them. The Ritz Cracker Crusted Baked Scrod was a little rubbery and floating in lots of water, but still wasn't bad. We definitely recommend this place!"

"we love all their Italian entrées taste like grandma made it. The food is always crash and precipitation is always nice and the quantity an amount is so surprising and delicious. They're eating food for Dzialo is out of this world. I recommend Franco Giani's family restaurant or outdoor dining for lunch dinner and pick up their grinders. Our ones be done too and they're in-house salad dressing is wonderfully addictive. and when we eat there, we're treated like family pizza and salad is also our favorite "
"Best Italian food around Connecticut his family owned for years and the best quality of food served daily so enjoy going with my family and kids. We've been eating at this restaurant since the late 1980s. It's exceptional. "

"I have to order the chicken Calabrese at least once a week. It's that good ! Chicken Parm with vodka sauce was also great "

"FANTASTIC food from VL (Villa
Lulu).
Bucatini Amitriciana is one of the 4
classic pastas of Rome (along w/
Caccio/Pepe, Gricia & Carbonara).
VL renders a faithful version, with
generous portions of Pork product,
and tomato. The tart tomato is like
the sun, cutting the earthy and
mysterious layering of fat & lean in
the guanciale (pig cheek). The last
piece of the puzzle is the Pecorino
Romano, which represents the
mountain freshness of the shepherd.
All of these ingredients make this
dish the quintessence of Lazio.
Ah, what a noble & unappreciated
animal the pig is. To sacrifice itself
for our dining pleasure.
The Romans recognize this even from
ancient times.
The standard of the 20th Legion was
a Wild Boar.
The grandeur of old Latium & Rome
the eternal.
Hail to Villa Lulu!
(and the 20th -- Valeria Victrix)"
"We have enjoyed meals from Villa Lulu in the past. It has been a whilesince our last order, however. This meal did not, unfortunately, hit all the past high marks. The meals were tepid in temperature. The Linguini Cacio E Pepe was glued together, but tasty. My gnocchi dish was also delicious lovely sauce, toothsome gnocchi. Both pasta dishes were less generous than in the past and given the price. The artichoke appetizer, while generous in quantity, was virtually inedible. The pieces of deep-fried artichoke looked so crispy appealing but tasted neither of artichoke nor the lightly acidic packing liquid. All we tasted was cooking oil. One seemed to get a near mouthful of oil instead of nice vegetal texture and flavor. We each did not finish our portions. The Cannolis were ok. The shell was thick and not soggy. The filing was fresh, nice flavor. They were not presented as is the menu photo. The cannoli were missing the chopped pistachios . Instead a small amount of the nuts were tossed into the serving container.
Food prices are high for restaurants right now, and places are often understaffed. Restaurants are working hardto stay aflo at. We get that. But the issues we experienced tonight could have been better managed."

"Delicious chicken parm and goat cheese salad! Cant wait for next time!"
"I ordered the Pollo Parmigiano from Ari Bella and was extremely disappointed. The chicken was so tough and overcooked that it was impossible to cut, let alone chew. It had the texture of rubber—completely inedible. I ended up throwing the entire dish away. For the price and reputation, I expected much better. Definitely won’t be ordering this again."
