"Everything was really tasty and had a good depth of flavor. However, I only got 1 small piece of Cod when all of the pictures online show 2. For $18 thats a little crazy when its only half the size of the palm of my hand. I also feel like I got a little less Wagyu than what I would've gotten if I went in person. "Heart great things about this restaurant but wife not feeling well so thought would surprise her with take out order. Ordered to pick up on way home from work, DoorDash said order would be ready 5:10pm. Arrived at 5:20 and told it would be 25 more minutes; friendly and apologetic that cook had just opened kitchen.
Came back at and was warmly greeted, given bag; noticed right away it was awfully light for almost $75 (4 items). Got home and saw why, only thing as pictured was the Signature Jako Salad . Black Cod Yuan Yaki was given only one piece even though two pieces shown in picture. American Wagyu Beef Curry Rice was about 2/3rds portion as pictured, much smaller oval container used rather than round one pictured. Pork Short Ribs Kakuni was a bit smaller than pictured. So, very disappointing portion sizes given price.
Taste-wise, Cod was terrific, very well marinated and cooked, just wish there was more. Curry was very good, but also small portion and still hungry after finishing it. Salad really wanted to like it but was just too salty. Short ribs ok, but also a little on salty side, but very tender.
Really wanted to like things but disappointed at the 35+ min lateness to order and while already a little pricey (quality ingredients, totally get it) the portion sizes were not as pictured. Much better value at the Loop (same owner) two blocks down the road.

"The portions were small, and the forgot 2/3rds of the order. Their packaging also doesn't reflect our amount with the cost of the food. The one entree that we got did look fresh but only included four pieces of beef which is concerning when the dish is beef and broccoli. While fresh the beef just tasted like it was seasoned with Worcestershire sauce and nothing else.
Overall, I won't be ordering from here again. Between the portions, the fact that they didn't include most of the order, the packaging, and most importantly the cost I'm incredibly disappointed by this restaurant."
