They had to close early due to an emergency and was unable to fulfill the entire order, such as the Tarte au Citron, which I understand. They were lovely about it and provided two of their chocolate gateaus explaining the situation. Their service was wonderful, and I wish I could give them five stars for service.
The reason for my rating is that the eclairs and croissant were fine, not great. The coffee one was subpar to be honest. The mini croissant was comically small for the price. I would have been fine with it if everything had a bakery quality taste. Instead, the desserts reminded me of store brand desserts.
The gateaus were bland but my partner liked the texture.
The item that did stand out was the Quiche Jardinière. My partner loved it and had no critiques. "

"The bagels are really good; I got the Asiago warmed with cream cheese. Was still warm when it arrived, had the perfect crunch in the right places and soft everywhere else. I ordered a Snowy Mocha Breve and it tasted great! I really appreciate the little additions Human Bean provides like the stir stick in the lid to prevent spilling when driving and the coffee beans they give every order. I usually give those to my Mother In-Law who loves them, but they're a nice treat added to your order. Lastly, I ordered a Raspberry muffin top which I haven't touched just yet (treat for later), but I love that they offer so many flavor varieties here. DB's has 2 flavors I believe and Human Bean has like 6 or something. Lol Pretty much all the typical muffin flavors you could buy elsewhere, they have as tops, made in-house and packaged individually. The only thing I was kind of bummed about would be the prices for coffees. They start their small sizes off at the same pricing of every other coffee houses large/venti size. So my large 20 oz. super basic white chocolate mocha with no additions cost almost $8. Eeek! And yeah, it's good coffee, but the coffee itself is nothing special in comparison to any other coffee house (no offense to the barista's - y'all are wonderful!). The coffee bean is a great little treat, but not worth an extra $3 imo. If the pricing was at least comparable, I'd order here more often since the lines are always shorter or empty, they do have more options for muffin tops, AND they do provide more typical drink options when ordering through the delivery apps in addition to being readily available FOR delivery on the foodie apps (where as DB does not and SB is inclusive to Uber and it's sister partners only). Other than coffee costs alone (food pricing is average for all coffee houses which makes coffee pricing differences kind of confusing) - it's not a bad place. I enjoyed my items this morning and my Dasher was great - very polite and positive. Greeted me with a big smile and was quick to respond from start to finish. "

"Disappointed in management for staffing as such on a Sunday morning when the sanctity of refreshing nourishment is peak: won't order here again bc based on taste and quality, the Dragon Bowl was clearly prepared by adolescents who naturally don't know the first thing about basic qualities expected in a twenty dollar smoothie bowl and how much it means to some of us. Leadership should instill these values with appropriate training and guidance but apparently no one is.
Taste: bland, tart (like the fruit hadn't ripened; tho it does seem that collectively we all silently agree that it's fine to rush harvesting bc restaurants will still but it and sell us sub par fruit that shouldn't pass muster bc we still buy it bc we're drowning in the midst of et al). Perhaps a lil agave could've helped or something to cut the bitterness; idk I'm just a nuanced consumer.
Freshness: fresh but not ripe. Thank goodness nothing came past its prime.
Toppings:
Strawberries~
- too much white/green.
- not sliced, but rather obliterated to choppy shards by a young scissorhands.
Pineapple~
- they were out so it didn't come with any :(
- so mine came missing a topping plus the second topping wasn't doubled up for good measure.
Whipped creams~
Taste~ the pink and the blue were both delicious from what I could tell- maybe they were running low on these too and were trying to stretch them so they could put off making new batches; perhaps understaffed/distracted by tech/overburdened and so the nervous system does what it does, but it's worth mentioning that it was scantily added and would've probably helped with taste had there been reasonably more.
Regrets I didn't take a pic before starting but I'll add what I have now. I wasn't expecting it to be so disappointing or else I would've showed and told to begin with.

"well I was in the mood for French. and tried the Ham & Cheese Pastry . there was no cheese, see pics. guess it came out the bottom of pastry. it needed more meat and cheese. OMG the donuts. Both are ooey gooey goodness. 3 holes used to fill it. it's stuffed full. you take a bite and the delish filling comes out the 2 other holes. I bit into one side.
